a while ago, I came across the FreeRTOS+IO package, liked it but hesitated to use it since I found the comment (on the FreeRTOS page) that it was a bit outdated and needed some refactoring.
Now, I find examples for NXP 17xx with still the same code as back then.
Are there any recommendations for usage? Is it being refactored or can it be used for real products? Together with +TCP?
I don’t want to be surprised by a new package which needs some bigger amendments throughout the whole project in the future.
Hi - sorry for the time lapse but can share that there is now an active
project ongoing to replace the +IO product, so +IO will get retired
soon. The headers for this are in https://github.com/aws/amazon-freertos but currently not documented -
there will be more updates soon as the interface is reviewed.
