In looking over the new libs here https://freertos.org/2020/12/introducing-the-freertos-cellular-library.html

Its a little unclear on the overview of this thing. Is this at all compatible with freertos + tcp?

I was hoping that this lib would interface using PPP, but it doesn’t appear to do so, rather limiting itself to the vendor provided module sockets.

I think the published demos use the TCP on the modem modules themselves.

Currently the demos use the TCP/IP stack on the cellular modems and do not run it on the host MCU.

You are right that PPP is not supported currently.
