Cellular as one of the Multiple interfaces

Is there any idea to add the cellular interface (from FreeRTOS Cellular Interface library) to the interface list in FreeRTOS-Plus-TCP so that we can use a common API and Multiple interfaces mechanism for TCP and UDP communication, also encrypted?

We have currently no immediate plans to integrate FreeRTOS Cellular library with FreeRTOS TCP interface list in our roadmap. We always appreciate if you want to contribute in this feature and raise a PR to FreeRTOS repository.
Here are some of the discussions we had regarding PPP with some external users:

  1. +TCP PPP and ARP
  2. FreeRTOS + TCP + PPP
  3. 有给FreeRTOS TCPIP协议栈增加PPP支持的(PPPOS)打算吗？ - #8 by hane_vv

These users are working towards the implementation of the PPP with TCP, you can also reach out to them for collaboration.
