Task Parallelism

Hi Guys,
I’m trying to implement parallelism on FreeRTOS (with multiple core). I don’t understand well how works parallelism on this kernel. For Example i have to make an application with two task: one makes some operation getting in output a specific state, and the another one (in parallel mode)check this state and make others operation. I understand that in FreeRTOS, two task continuously can switch-in and out but don’t run togheter, maybe can i resolve this with co-routine?or it is done automatically when i used a multicore processor?
Thanks you a lot!

Sorry - I don’t understand your question. You can only have one task running on one core at a time, and as you say, the tasks appear to execute in parallel because they are switched in and out rapidly. If you want to tasks running genuinely in parallel you will need more than one core.

Regards.

My question is: on multi-core processor (for example dual core) have i two task in running state automatically without declaring specific statements to implements it in FreeRTOS (for example in pseudocode: var par task2) or specify more than one core?I think that you’ ve already answered me
