Being new to FreeRTOS, I just wanted to know if it is possible to put FreeRTOS on a PIC 16F88. If possible, can I use one of the demos and re-configure it to make it compatible with the 16F88?
One last thing, which printable ebook of FreeRTOS do you suggest? The standard edition one?
I just looked up that part number and see it has 368 bytes of RAM. I would say no you cannot run FreeRTOS on it. That is a very tiny part and has a very limited architecture. I don’t think applications requiring an RTOS are its target market.
