Hi there. The FreeRTOS does not work for all PIC18FxxJxx series with MPLAB SIM debugger. No matter how I modify the associated PIC18Fxxjxx lkr file, it still cannot go to any task. If I choose any of those PIC18Fxxxx series without “J”, it will go to the task created. Can anybody help me? Thanks!

PIC18 is not really a suitable target (this is mentioned on the web site), and those parts have not been tried - although you may find some useful code in the FreeRTOS Interactive site.

Thanks for reply. The issue is resolved. Configuration bits need to be tweaked. FreeRTOS is good.
