I’m not familiar with the XC32 version of GCC, other than for the PIC32, but normally when using GCC for a Cortex-M you would use the -mmcu, -march and -mtune command line options to tell the compiler exactly what you are building for. Not 100% sure but you may be able to remove the ‘s’ from movs and bics too.
