I have an application running FreeRTOS on an XMEGA384D3. Everything is running OK but I would like to run Tracealyzer to see how well things are running. The part I have does not have a JTAG interface so wonder if anyone has managed to get realtime debugging using the PDI interface? I don’t have sufficient RAM to run an offline session. Also my application uses all the USARTS so I cannot use them.
Does the PDI do real time debugging? I can only find information on using it for programming. I see its capable of being used for debugging too - it’s just not clear how.
