SMP on the Xilinx/AMD Versal

I am using Xilinx/AMD’s Vitis software which has support for FreeRTOS built in.

The desire is to be able to use FreeRTOS SMP with the Versal SoC which already has support for AMP as well as petalinux.

Is this board/SoC supported?

Hi Zach,

Thank you for your interest in FreeRTOS SMP. Currently, SMP is developed in the main branch. SMP feature is probably not included in the built in FreeRTOS in Vitis yet. Versal SOC SMP support is not available in the FreeRTOS supported port. We probably need to seek for partner or community’s help to enable SMP feature on Versal SOC.
