OTA documentation since website update

Hi,

Since the new update of the website (nov 2024), some links are now redirected to pages which don’t explain exactly the same things. And for examples:

  • this link “freertos[dot]org/freertos-core/over-the-air-updates/index.html” was the page explaining the modular approach for OTA but now it redirects to a page which is still mentionning the AWS IoT OTA library, is it still recommended to use it for new implementation ?
  • this link “freertos[dot]org/freertos-core/over-the-air-updates/mqtt-ota-agent-orchestrator.html” is supposed to explain new demos with the modular approach but it redirects to a page for a demo using the OTA lib

So it’s not clear if it’s the modular approach which is recommended as in the last FreeRTOS-LTS release or the OTA library as the pages mentionning it are “Updated Nov 2024”

We recommend using modular approach for all new application. It seems like a documentation issue which we will get fixed.

OK ! thanks for the clarification

The redirect has been fixed.
You should be able to access the Over the Air Updates (OTA) - FreeRTOS™ link and it will take you to the new modular OTA page.
