Must/should MIT license be shown for FreeRTOS Kernel, and where?

Hi all - apologies if this is a bit of a FAQ but I couldn’t find a clear answer.

I am evaluating the use of a Real-Time framework, which might be FreeRTOS (kernel only), for a HW product. I am not 100% about if we would have to display information about this use, and if so, where.

The licensing page (I’d put a link but I am new here…) shows the MIT license, which says (in part):

The above copyright notice and this permission notice shall be included in all
copies or substantial portions of the Software.

But in the table below, there is this Q & A:

Q: Do I have to document that my product uses FreeRTOS?
A: (FreeRTOS Core/MIT License): No
A: (openRTOS/Commercial License): No

It’s the first of those answers I am trying to check.

Thanks, Jkn

You don’t have to document your product uses FreeRTOS.

Thank you Richard, that’s helpful information.
