FreeRTOS+TCP in Xilinx Zynq 7010 or 7020 SoCs

Hello,

I am preparing the field for an evolution of my current design based on a STM32H743ZIT6, FreeRTOS and FreeRTOS+TCP (working very nicely). I’ve thought about migrating to a Xilinx Zynq 7010 or 7020 SoC due to the fact that the FPGA would help me a lot to interface with many external ADC’s and I would get gigabit Ethernet which is very needed for my application. I wanted to ask how good are the Zynq 7010 (single-core) or 7020 (dual-core) SoC’s supported, both for FreeRTOS as well as for the FreeRTOS+TCP extension. For the STM32 uC the integration was manageable with support from the forum. Can I expect the same for these SoC’s?

Best Regards,

Javier

My answer is positive, both the FreeRTOS and the FreeRTOS+TCP libraries for Zynq7000 have been around for a long time. And also, there will be support on this forum, in case you report a problem.

Thanks Hein, I will then go for it
