Noticed new changes on github about common IO libraries. While I am currently working on sensors with SPI interface. Using native ESP32 spi libraries. Curious if it’s worth switching and when.

Would it be possible to know what is the roadmap for such features?

Thanks for the question. We are in process of developing common IO libraries. I don’t really have a roadmap to share, but I’ll share your requirement with the team.
The advantage of using common IO would be portability across all supported AFR platforms.
