I want to know if its possible to run FreeRTOS on Intel Atom E3900 microchip? In the official list on FreeRTOS website, I see that x86 is supported but I’m a bit confused by the description.
So I just want to confirm if it can be done or not.
FreeRTOS runs on the Quark, which is basically a 586, so don’t see why it wouldn’t run on an Atom. The port is basic though - with a flat 32-bit memory space (no virtual memory support).
