I created the project, rather than basing it on an existing project, but normally basing any new projects on existing projects is what we would recommend.
The Atmel Studio project builds the same demos as the existing IAR and Keil projects. It is in a separate directory as the library files (which were downloaded from the Atmel site) have some difference from those provided for the IAR and Keil projects - I guess they are just a different version but I didn’t want to mix up the versions in case of any unintended consequences.
