I’ve gone through the [LPCXpresso Base Board](https://www.freertos.org/FreeRTOS-Plus/FreeRTOS_Plus_IO/Demo_Applications/LPCXpresso_LPC1769/NXP_LPC1769_Demo_Description.shtml) demo on using FreeRTOS+IO. I however, can’t find a BSP file for STM32VLDISCOVERY (or similar) for configuring the IO to be used with the API. Does anyone know of one that exists or do I need to create one myself?

We don’t have a port ourselves. The +IO product needs some work to make
it easier to port.
